Hi, I’m Theresa. I know all about Fresh Starts. But first there was a lot of WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! From going gray, to surviving infidelity, to gray divorce (32 years of marriage!), to starting over again and oh, yeah, this breast cancer thing.
I went from “I thought things would be different at this stage in my life” to “Oh, shit. I did not sign up for this to how do I navigate these changes?”
You are forced to say goodbye to the familiar. You may feel like your life is in smoking ruins. Yeah, I get it!
And goodbye to the vision of what you thought your life would look like after 50. Because of this, my bucket list became my f*ck it list.
I had to say f*ck it to people pleasing behaviors and tolerating bullshit for far too many years.
But then there’s that transitional state-that uncomfortable place between saying goodbye to your old life and saying hello to your new life, your fresh start.
It’s hard navigating this liminal space. It’s easy to get stuck when you’ve lost sight of the familiar and feel adrift.

Physical clutter can leave us stuck in more ways than one. From the very real economic impact if you’re renting a storage unit or that dreaded emotional cost of overwhelm every time you open the garage door.
My organizing is a little different. I use a coaching approach when working with clients. While we’re sifting and sorting, we sometimes get into some deep stuff. The emotional clutter that drives the physical clutter.
When I am jokingly telling clients “I do the Lord’s work,” I am only partially joking. Clearing clutter and freeing up space often brings in a fresh perspective in all areas of life. Watching the transformation is a holy experience to me and one I treat with great honor.
But don’t worry… we’re going to have a lot of FUN too! There’s a reason I’ve been called The Zany Sage!
