Coping during crisis
Friends, I hope you are well during this pandemic. I recently sent out an email to my subscribers just to check in on them and see how they were faring. The responses warmed my heart.
Even in spite of the challenges, I see resiliency and a “can-do” spirit. It’s not easy, I know. I wanted to share a few resources that I use to keep myself even keeled. I invite you to check them out and if you don’t already have some mental health self-care practices in place, I can’t think of a better time to implement them than now.
The first is a simple app called Breathly. It’s FREE, simple to use and extremely effective in settling down anxiety.
My other favorite is Insight Timer. I use the free version and while it has a few limitations, the price is right for my budget right now. There are lots and lots of meditations, guided imagery and teachings.
